  Great food, generous servings at affordable prices. You. An call ahead & order so food is nearly ready when u get there! They may want to see that you're actually coming. Smothered short ribs, chicken, pork chops; ox tails, good fried chicken, turkey wings, fried or baked fish, meatloaf; etc. Good collard greens, love the okra corn & tomatoes, rice & gravy or stuffing {delicious), Mac & cheese, yams, cabbage, green beans, mashed potatoes, corn muffins & slices of cakes & pies $ peach cobbler are so so. - Ive had many dishes & have never felt the need to complain. Small space for dining in - 2-3 tables & more eight outside on Manchester, if u like eating on a busy street. The ladies & gentlemen behind the counter who fix your plates work hard & they must be FAST!

  I had a fantastic dinner here this week. I had the wedge salad ($12) and petite filet ($39). This was the best wedge salad I've ever had. The presentation was lovely. It was a lot, I couldn't finish it. The steak was cooked to perfection. My server, Genaro, was very attentive.

  Excellent seafood dishes in a most unexpected place. Wonderful ambience and we loved sitting near the open kitchen to watch the prep action.

  Excellent food! We were there before they opened talking with two ladies waiting in line. They recommend everything as being tasty - one lady said she came there especially for the oxtail. Between me & my friends we had the smothered chicken, meatloaf, collard greens, yams (heavenly), mashed potatoes, cornbread, corn okra, stuffing, peach cobbler, and coconut pineapple pie. Generous servings in takeout containers. Limited seating inside and out. Line formed while we ordered, looks like most people do takeout. You'll lick the box clean as everything is so yummy!
